Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Good beers?

    Howdy,

Just wondering if there are any beer connoisseurs out there that could recommend me some nice beer? What sort of beer would you think is the nicest? Literally know nothing about beers, I usually end up drinking the usual cheap ones like Dutch Gold or Sol or something, but I'd like to broaden my beer horizons! And I know I'm gonna get given out to for drinking Dutch Gold as well, but I'm a poor student!

Nice beer is never something I think about getting when I'm going for something nicer, it's usually wine, so yeah, suggestions welcome!

    Cheeers :)

Drop into the likes of The Porterhouse, Bull and Castle and Against The Grain and sample the stuff they have on tap to see what types of beer you have a taste for. If you don't live in Dublin this has a list of pubs with good beer selections, personally I like hoppy ales like Galway Hooker and O' Haras and stout like Porterhouse Wrasslers and Trouble Brewing Dark Arts (all Irish breweries):

I don't think you can divide them up into good beers and bad beers. The thing to do is try different beers.

If you've only ever tried lager try an ale or a stout and try different brands until you find one you like.
