Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I am looking to upgrade my dad's iPhone to ios5. They thing is I don't know on what pc he first set up his iPhone. It's not his home pc.

So when I use the one at his home. It will delete everything right?
How do I keep the information on his phone? At least the contacts?

you can sync the contacts from the phone to address book or outlook/windows contacts (whatever it's called i don't use windows so don't know).

if you're upgrading to iOS5, just do a backup before upgrading, then restore from itunes backup when the phone asks you to.

I can't. I am not getting that option. All I am getting is this phone has been synced somewhere else.

And to restore to I will need to restore from back up or set up as a new phone.
So if I do this. All will be deleted.

The back up is from an iPad. So that's no use.

    Any other ideas?
