Flynn has 480 yards, 6 tds and a rating of 136.4.

Considering Flynn has played so well and will likely be surplus to requirements, Mark Sanchez should be very worried.

Given the lack of quality QBs in the league loads of teams would take an interest. Other teams must be sick. They lose their top guy and have to replace them with Painter, Hanie, Boller etc yet the Pack can just turn the other switch.

Surplus to requirements?! No team would consider him that after a day like today....if Rodgers was to go down they'd want an able replacement and he has certainly proved to be!

Kevin Kolb got a 6 year, 65 million deal with 21 million guaranteed. I don't see why Flynn can't demand the same, although I'd be wary of what he could do without that cast and that playbook. Someone will give him a shot though.

Yeah and theres the thing, Mike McCarthy is not getting the credit he should be getting because of Rodger's performances. I think McCarthy is at Belichick's level.

yeah much like Cassell a few years back, he just played himself to a big paypacket somewhere else. setting a passing and TD record in Green Bay is some achievement with the masters that went before him.

Jesus Tampa are brutal...28 down after only a quarter and a bit!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,299 ✭✭✭spiralism

Denver getting utterly dominated by the Chiefs atm. Evidently we're in blue, not because we're at home but because the whole team collectively has shat itself again and it would show up on the white.

Cmon Rivers, you're our only hope now.

    Titans 9-7
    Bengals 9-6
    Broncos 8-7
    Raiders 8-7

Could all finish 9-7, who has the tie-breakers here?

    Yep -

Broncos win AFC West if they win or Raiders lose
Raiders win AFC West if they win and Broncos lose
Neither can qualify for play-offs any other way.

Weird one here. Titans are still alive but they need the Bengals to lose and then both the Raiders and Broncos to win to make it. Crazy stuff.:D

Titans advance on superior conference record in Padraig's scenario (three way tie for wild card). The Bengals would stay home. If the Bengals don't win they need the Broncos/Raiders to lose. Bengals have the head to head advantage but throw three teams in the mix and the Titans play on.

Broncos and Raiders cannot make the wildcard due to tiebreaker scenarios. I believe that puts the Bengals in. Cmon San Diego, for what its worth.

105 yard return for the Chargers who are about to go up by 11. Not looking good for the Raiders although if Cason can't come back they have a chance of doing it through the air.

Don't rate Cason at all fwiw, Jammer and Weddle are still in that secondary too.

    Richard Goodman, you ****ing beauuuttyyy

Christ the Bucs are gone useless altogether. thought they might make some moves this year, but since the London game they have been absolute muck. getting hammered by Atlanta. Raheem Morris surely gone now.

Cason just aint getting the defensive scheme or something. He was very effective under Ron Rivera.

17-3 to the Ravens at the half, delighted so far despite my initial concerns about how this would go.

Great 70 yard run from Rice and a lovely throw and catch from Flacco to Pitta for the TD right at the end of the 2nd.

Crowd on their Bengals back now booing. Hopefully we keep this up.

Lol Raiders, had a certain field goal(Janikowski obv.) and with 11 seconds and no timeouts Palmer throws it short middle with no chance of getting the ball spiked on time. Heads could roll over that if it ends up costing them the division.

at the end of the Patriots game, Hoyer threw a deep pass to Gronkowski for 22 yards. emerges after that they called the play so Gronk would be sure of beating Graham to set the TE record for a season.

Considering what was given up for them to get him, not a chance. Hue Jackson will be the one to get in trouble for this but with Al dead, he wont be fired

Awful, missing open receivers all day and has fumbled.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,599 ✭✭✭matthew8

Awful run defense, don't think we'll blow it though. This year we haven't tended to blow leads.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,299 ✭✭✭spiralism

San Diego now lead by 2 scores. Sound lads.

Shocking stuff. Reed really should have made that tackle but apparently he has a sore shoulder.

Tebow is playing too conservatively - has has open receivers and thrown the ball away - couple of good throws, couple of awful ones. KC seconsdary are playing well.

My prediction - Broncos win it 9-7 (and even if they lose the Raiders will lose to the Chargers)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,174 ✭✭✭✭kmart6

Tebow never knows when to just throw it away!

Great play by Willis on special teams,

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,299 ✭✭✭spiralism

Look, Tebow has been awful today, but the playcalling has beggared belief. We started at midfield there, ran 3 times for 6 yards in total and punted. Unreal.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

Jesus Christ, Baltimore are going to blow this if the run defence doesn't get into shape ASAP.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,174 ✭✭✭✭kmart6

What do you want them to do? Run pass plays when he can't hit his receivers?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,599 ✭✭✭matthew8

John Fox is doing it his way, and with Tim Tebow it's served you well, which is why you are in such a big game right now.

something more creative than running up the gut or pitching it on an option tbh. I'd hope he can make at least one or two throws in these situations, given it's the 4th.

Chargers on the move again. Come on lads. 1 more TD and we're in.
