Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

5.1 with smarthome setup - advice?

    Hi folks,
Any advice gratefully accepted on the following setup:
    I have a PC with a 5.1 sound card.
I also live in a place with a built in smarthome system - a box on the wall to plug the audio into, plus RCA out sockets around the room.

What I'd like to do is get a speaker system that will give me surround sound from the PC, to speakers connected to the RCA sockets.
I'm considering a logitech z506 (or something similar, I can't find anything that isn't a lot more expensive) - however I'm a little worried about this setup, as it doesn't seem to use RCA cables for the speakers.

Would I need some kind of adaptors - or if anyone has a similar setup, is there a better system to use for the same effect? I'm trying to avoid systems that have a DVD player, as there's already one in the PC, and I'll be using it for music and gaming too.

Many thanks in advance for any help.
