Have a 6 year old PC and sick of having to game on my brothers PC so thinking of upgrading in a couple of weeks. How does this spec sound? Haven't really been keeping abreast of what's good value for money lately :p Aim would be to add a near silent high power cooler, get a new case(but will decide that closer to the time),look into custom coolers for the 6870 and overclock the i5 to 4400mhz.

OCZ Agility 3 Series Internal Solid State Drive... € 81,90

    Seagate ST2000DL003 3.5" Barracuda Green Hard Drive... € 121

    GIGABYTE GA-Z68AP-D3 - 1155 Socket - Z68 Chipset - ATX € 93,90

    GEIL Enhance Corsa 2 x 4GB DDR3-1600 memory modules... € 36,90

    Intel Core i5 2500K - 3.3 GHz - 6 MB L3 Cache - LGA... € 199,90

Cooler Master Sileo RC-500 PC Tower Case - black € 64,90

    Tikoo Radeon HD 6870 - 1 GB GDDR5 - PCI-Express 2.1 € 139

    Total: € 672.60 + € 15.99 shipping

All from pixmania, as aside from €6 cheaper on the i5 from komplett I couldn't find it cheaper elsewhere.

You would probably get all the components cheaper on hardwareversand.de, but they charge 30euro shipping, which isn't too bad seeing as pixmania are charging 16 and they are Irish.
Also, hardwareversand will build it for you for 20euro too, if you don't know how to do it yourself.

Do you have a PSU in that build?

    Already have a good PSU!

Hardwareversand is charging 676.27 excl shipping and at what I presume to be the German VAT rate so works out as €717 delivered versus €688.

I know people have had bad experiences with Pixmania but tbh, I've had bad experiences with Scan, ocuk, komplett(years ago before they were bought over) and amn't particularly worried.

    I think I'd get the M4 even though it's a bit dearer.

+4GB, more reliable and faster with incompressible data (OCZ's speeds refer to optimal situations).
