Predictions for 2012

    Just a thread to see what predictions people have for MMA in 2012. Domestically and worldwide.
    Some of mine:

    Bellator will double their cable ratings.
    Joseph Benavidez will be the flyweight champ.
    Fitch-GSP 2 for the title.

    So what are yours?

    I can see the first of your predictions happening the year after, when Viacom move Bellator over to Spike from MTV2.

    Otherwise, could defo see these happening!

    I think Anderson Silva will retire with the title next year. Unless he loses it....in which case he might try regaining before bowing out.

    Gunni Nelson to go undefeated and to be hounded by UFC and Bellator to sign on the dotted line.

    Rory MacDonald will be a contender in the WW division by the time the year is out.

    Ian "Uncle Creep" McCall will be loved by fans around the world!

    Conor McGregor to be Cage Warriors featherweight champ by year's end.

    Ais Daly to be the women's flyweight Cage Warriors champ and having avenged her loss to Sheila Gaff.

    Heavyweight title to change hands more than once.
    Jon Jones to stay unbeaten.
    Jimmy Hettes to have a good year, he was superb last night.
