Gaming PC build

A while ago I asked if anyone could help me with a PC gaming build, I had a budget of 1000 euro. I wrote that the games that I would be playing on it were battlefield 3 and lots of others. I have been stuck with this low end PC for a long time and I got my first job a while back and I have saved quite a bit so I wanted something that could run battlefield on the max settings (Ultra Power!) I have put some PCs together before but I am not that wise with which parts to get. Here is a build I was suggested with the graphics card either being a gtx 570 or a 6970.

Then I looked around and found out that to play Battlefield 3 on max settings I would have to have a better graphics card, like the 590 or 6990.

I am wondering if anyone here can help me out, I am willing to spend the extra on the graphics card and I am also wondering if the first cards mentioned (570 and 6970) will be powerful enough to run it on max settings (or maybe even the gtx 580?)

Anything over NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 560 OR ATI RADEON 6950 should give you max settings

The 570 is more powerful than the 590, are you sure you weren't backwards there? Either way both the 570 & 590 are more powerful than those ATI cards so either should work.

Don't know where battlefield would fit in but these benchmarks might help.

Those benchmarks are wrong, they mean nothing in terms of gaming.
Here is a proper benchmark, the gtx 590 is better than the 570 by a mile. The chart is 590>580>570>560ti and for amd 6990>6970>6950>6870.
The radeon 6970 is more powerful than the gtx 570 in fps games on the most part, the same with the 6990 towards the 590.
So get a radeon 6970 (or 7970 if you have the dosh in the new year) or gtx 570.

Well I think I will probably end up getting the 580 or 570 now, thanks for the advice, they also fit in quite well with my budget and I have read from other sources that the game is optimized better for NVIDIA cards, would anyone else agree?
