Helicopter searching the Suir last night

I was staying in a hotel on the key, they must have been searching for 30 minutes, there was a small boat searching the river also.
Anyone know what this is about ?

Emergency Services Carry out Search of the Suir

A search was carried out in the River Suir this morning by River Rescue, the Rescue 117 helicopter and the Waterford Fire Service following reports to Gardai that someone had fallen into the river. The emergency services were called to the scene at about 6 o clock this morning. They called of the search at around half past 8 as no one was found.The search was conducted from the Tower Hotel as far as Granny castle

if so the body won,t be seen for bout two weeks at the most if submerged
