Building my first Gaming PC soon around 500 budget, going to be an i5 2500k processor, 8GB RAM, 450W Amazon PSU and ASRock P67 Pro3 (B3) Socket 1155 ATX etc. Going to be medium gaming, wondering if the 6870 really makes the difference for 20 euro?

Doesn't look like it.

I'd reccomend a Corsair G600 or Similar PSU. Something with plenty of headroom, one that can be expanded upon later but more importantly is being run at less than full capacity, giving it a much longer lifespan. Have an HX750 in my machine and it came in dead handy when I wanted to do crossfire, a 2nd hard drive, and eventually an SSD.

I've been looking at getting one of these recently as well. Looking at other benchmarks you get an average of about 10 fps more with the 6870 over the 6850 - I think that's worth an extra €20-30.
