How do you pronounce "Caribbean"

See the title, how should Caribbean (as in the Caribbean islands and Sea of the southern coast of the U.S.) be pronounced?

Is it Carr-i-bee-an (like Enya sings it) or "Ca-rib-yan" as I've sometimes heard it, like on American newscasts?

The first one on your poll I think is the properly pronounced version but some people might use the second version to have a laugh though. I use the first version.
