Some heavy bursts of sheeting rain here tonite is the main story so far..the wind has picked in the last hour..woa just as I type there was a gust that sounded a bit like thunder..looking out the door loose debris is tumble-weeding up and down the road...I bet the guys in the NW are but a gust of 40-50 knts is noteworthy in these here parts.

Some serious winds starting here in Sligo. Town. Just came from Dublin airport and back in time to avoid the serious gusts. Midlands seemed the worse rain wise but was was eerily calm when we hit the NW initiAlly.
