    53km/h today?

    Yes indeed!

And the highest gust was 54.7kph @ 2pm; at 7pm we had a 53.1kph gust.

You really need to get your anemometer up! :D

Mine already as high as it will go, on chimney of our bungalow but highest gust so far was 21.9km/h just after 5pm, all be it we are in the lee of the Wicklow Uplands in Ashford.

Yours must be in the jet stream

Well, if the jet stream is coming from Three Rock Mountain then I'm in it :D

    Latest report:
    DUBLIN AIRPORT W22 knots

That's 40kph current average wind run.

Which makes my gusting to 55kph pretty unexceptional ;)

Fair play, my house cut in to hillside so anemometer only level to road behind us, hoping to add second floor soon so may get better results. Suppose only reflects location.

    :)

    Temp 10.7˚c
    Humidity 92%
4.7km/h, gusting to 14.5km/h (max gust today 21.9km/h)
    Pressure 1012.8hPa falling

    Location: Terenure, Dublin
    Temp 10.8ºC / DP 9.2ºC
    Humidity 89%
    Pressure 1019.5 steady
    Gust 13.3 km/h (at 3.5m)
    Rainfall 0.0mm (1hr); 0.0mm (24hr).

I've indicated my local pressure as steady as it hasn't changed in 6 hours. Maybe the 'steady' is wrong. Can anybody tell me at what time intervals do we consider that the pressure is rising/falling, slowly/rapidly, steady.

Man you're dedicated! Building a second floor just to get the anemometer up a few meters :D

If the second story doesn't get the right beaufort measurements, you might consider resurrecting this engineering feat! :D

Don't know but if it hasn't changed then it's steady.

I just look at the graph and make a call, I'm not ME (yes I am but I'm not Met E), in fact I know absolutely feck all about the weather - I just love it and trying to learn as I go
