    Hi everyone, i need to know can anyone tell where i can get a legal aid solicitor here in Waterford city i did a stupid thing i drove after having a drink,i have a few questions i am still awaiting dole money as living off my very low saving.so can i get legal aid and also i have a UK drivers licence how does that work out as was reading on here about other topic's.

    Legal Aid is doubtful for a DD case, but no harm in trying. Just check the phone book for Waterford any solicitor advertising that he does criminal will more than likely do legal aid. They can advise on your chances of getting LA for drink driving.

    The licence being UK only means it can not be endorsed, but any ban will still apply in this country.

    Free Legal Aid centre is located on Canada street down by People's Park if I remember correctly.

    Free Legal Advice Centre is in the St. Brigid's Community Centre on lower yellow Road, opposite the Toddle Inn pub.

    The Free Legal Aid centre will not deal with criminal cases. FLAC on the other hand may be able to give some advice, but again I doubt if they will act in such a case.

    OP if you want the name of a solicitor that will provide free legal aid, please PM me. I can't guarantee anything but I know this solicitor does provide legal aid.
