    Hi All,

I'm starting a new limited company in construction with one other person and I'm wondering what bank is the best to bank with....

What's the best way to get credit, overdraft etc.?

    Greatly appreciate any help.

They're all the same really. Just go where you can get the best deal on fees and charges. As for credit and overdraft - in the construction industry - eh ... There used to be a crowd on St Stephens Green who specialised in that ... I think they've been renamed ...

    Yeah, I know. I'm hilarious :D:D:D

All banks are the same. Just talk to a few of them and see what (if any) advantages you can find between them. For example, AIB offers a number of nice addons with their business credit cards which other banks don't.

As a personal customer of Ulster Bank I find them grand. But as a business customer I find them somewhat lacking and know of another couple of people with similar opinions. I've heard better things about AIB and might switch soon.

I have had a business account with AIB in the past and they were horrific- the only reason I didn't move is because none other seem to be better- I miss RBS! Sigh.
