Silva and Aquergo didnt come on until the second half
Mario Balo wasnt even on the bench (ankle injury?)

The last time they played Silva and Aguero both started and Balotelli was sent off if I remember correctly

Jesus I hope I remember, I was there

Not necessarily - might be another FA cup round in there so he could be back for spurs;)

LFC team according to @thisisanfield : Reina, Johnson, Skrtel, Agger, Enrique, Henderson, Spearing, Adam, Downing, Kuyt, Bellamy.

Gerrard & Carroll on the bench?

Team was wrong. Liverpool: Reina, Enrique, Johnson, Skrtel, Agger, Spearing, Adam, Downing, Henderson, Kuyt, Carroll.

    Above is the correct team.

Subs Doni, Gerrard, Maxi, Carragher, Shelvey, Kelly, Bellamy.

Didn't Mario get sent of in the last match after coming on as a sub?

    I'd say that's a 4-5-1.

Even more worried with no Bellamy, Suarez and Gerrard. To slow and lethargic in attack.

Not a particularly attacking lineup, but considering where we're playing I suppose that's no surprise. I'd snap the hand off for a draw now, but still think a home win is far more likely. City only being 10/11 is a ridiculously long price I think.

Counter attacking wise I'd say so. 4-5-1 or well probably 4-6-0 defending!

Henderson given licence to support hopefully. Adam needs to stay back and help Spearing out.

I think whether he starts games or not has more to do with his injury problems than if should or shouldn't start games.

First time ill be watching City live this season. It's great having every game live on tv for about 1/10 of what sky charge for it. Not in English but I can understand some of it.

Should be a cracking game. I feel Downing will have a big influence on the game tonight. He will grab his first goal/assist tonight. City 2-1 unfortunately.

Give over, i'm sure he'd be well capable of starting and playing the first 45. I think thats better than the usual "on for 20 minutes when we're behind" rubbish managers do. Bellamy would be absolutely raring to go to get one over on City. Besides, no need to even have him in the squad for our next gane against Oldham.

Probably the best team we can play given the circumstances but its pretty much weak everywhere apart from defense.

Spearing, Henderson, Adam is a weak central three. Downing, Kuyt and Carroll have been very ineffective. We will be lucky to get a draw I reckon, unfortunately.

Sadly i completely agree with this and we don't even have the pace in the side to counter attack.Downing has been fairly poor and is prone to go missing in games. Will happily settle for a point now,

Happy with Spearing and Henderson in the middle not so much with Adam. Can't believe Downing gets a start after the rubbish he's served up so far this season.:(

Liverpools starting line up tonight has 8 goals between them...for this stage of the season I find that incredible for a team in 6th
