I did Hannover to Fuessen a few times when I lived in Germany and was on the way to Italy, I reckon the whole A7 would take 8 hours. A lot of Autobahn is limited to 120 kmh and where it isn;t a lot is 2 lanes making constant high speed difficult.

FWIW you can drive Cherbourg to Algeciras in Spain with no stops which is about 2050km iirc.

Or you can drive Algeciras to Copenhagen 3150km and providing there are no further stops at borders you can go well past Oslo making it over 3800 km with no stops. I am taking it that there will be no border checks due to Schengen or the Nordic agreement thingy (sometimes there are) and that all tolls can be passed by magnetic card meaning you just have to slow down for them.

Five hours you say? That sounds like a challenge!
One party takes the train and one the car. Top Gear rules, only public transport for one party and car only the other.:D

I'll take the train if you don't mind!
Possibly go 50/50 on your speeding tickets!:D

That can get expensive very quickly there.
I'd also have to hope that I don't run out of licence before running out of road!
Once had a Fiat Bravo, drove from Frankfurt to Fuessen, mostly 120 km/h before Ulm, but from Ulm, all clear.
Did 220 km/h for an hour, even blew past the Polizei in a VW Transporter, they where going about 120 km/h, just flew past them.
    All legal, of course.
