Going to wash car at lunch and it is bleedin freezin outside. Sunny and about 10 degrees, but the wind is whipping around :-(

There's an attended car-wash just down the road from Midway.

Even though my car was clean yesterday, it certainly is not after a trip from Ros to Tuam, then all around the Corrib and back to Ros via Athlone.

So I'll be heading in there tomorrow. The lazy option.

Wasn't too windy out the back so it's all done. Even turned down the offer of a free, professional wash from the guy who does our final prep before cars are delivered - thought that would have been a bit of a cop out :p

Can't make this one, heading to London this evening with the old man. Back on Sunday. Just make sure there's at least one 156 at the meet!:D

I washed mine in the freezing cold last Saturday. Got some very strange looks but I used warm water in me buckets and it was perfect weather for polishing the car.

I dropped in to the local crystal clean valeting this evening to get the car washed and waxed only to be told they wouldn't have enough time to do it. I wouldn't mind but my boss told me to go at half 4 but I stayed until half 5 to finish off some stuff

No way they'll have it done in time in the morning either since they only open at 9. This means I get to be up at 8 and hope it doesn't fooken rain!

When you come from the motorway and drive past midway, it's the first petrol station on your left before the stadium. They have an attended car wash there. Costs 6 quid, so fairly good price, too.

And you can also wash it yourself, if you prefer.

Your best bet at that time is Reillys on the straight road. Once you hit the link its quick but you'll still be doubling back.

Or do what I did - brush wash!

If a good few go to use them, might even be able to negotiate a group deal!

Afraid a brush was would only skim the surface of the dirt at the minute!

Straight road bit out of the way id say so may have to go dirty :( Wouldn't mind but I went to a local place this evening but it was closed.
