From friends I've heard there's many around as Perth and Oz in general is really into health/fitness.

I'd also like to know the cost and whether they'd be the same rate as here in Ireland?

Goodlife is great and about $18 a week.

Do not go near Fitness First, rip off and very difficult to get away from contract wise.

Community leisure centres also have gyms. Some of the bigger centres have pretty flash ones too with lots of classes on. They tend to be cheaper than regular gyms.
