Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I've had a 2 car break ins in the past year and have been thinking about putting some sort of PIR which will monitor the driveway. When the PIR detects movement I want an alarm or some sort of indicator inside the house to tell me something has entered the driveway. Ideally the PIR will high enough to avoid cats, dogs, foxes etc setting it off.

anyone have any options for a device like this?

A point to point beam would be perfect. It's basically two units that look at each other and one sends a small beam to the other one and if it's broken it will trip your alarm. There's a sticky on top of the main page with a list of suppliers, give them a call.

I have seen this on ebay for the same reasons you stated,
It looks good and it's all wireless so no messing. it would sound or light anything that was plugged into to receiving socket.
It's £20.76 for it and £3.50 postage to Ireland.
