living in apartment nearly 6 months now and we have one problem about our bed.. The actual bed is a queen size bed and the mattress is a king size mattress so it doesn't fit , leaving one side sloped which is very annoying. So who ever sleeps on the sloped side always ends up on top of the other person..

So what im trying to say is it worth bringing up this issue with the landlord or will he just be like goway!!

any info would be greatly appreciated

If it annoys you enough to write about it on Boards, it worth saying to the landlord that ye need a proper mattress or buy one yourself and take the money from the rent you'd pay!

they cant buy one and take ot out of the rent money.

OP you can ask the landlord he may or may not say go away. he doesnt have to supply you a mattress to fit the bed. you should have rasied this on viewing when you accepted the accomadation you accepted the bed situation.

he might agree to replace it for you though

Yes, you can bring it up with the landlord, but if he won't do anything, he is not obliged to do so.

This is what you saw when you viewed the apartment, so you accepted it, especially after 6 months occupation.

If you had brought it up in the first few days, you would have had more chance as then it could have been termed a "snag" which you hadn't noticed when viewing.

IMO, really, you left it too long.

Just ask the Landlord! There's not a statute of limitations on uncomfortable beds. Are people really so afraid of their landlords?
