Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Today I saw a device which to look at appeared to be an ordinary pir. If you looked at it closely you would see a small aerial and a slot on the side of it for a sim card. I understand you can attach bell etc to it to activate should you require it. However in this case this device alerted the owner that someone had broken the bean therefore indicated that there was an intruder on site. It can it seems txt 6 numbers. The intruders were unaware of any thing and were caught leaving. This is not to the required en standard but is very effective with no monitor fees. I took a pic of it but can't seem to link it to this message. If placed correctly this is a fantastic little device. I spoke to an installer earlier who recalls someone in the trade recently contacted him to see if would be interested in stocking them he is to come back to me. Has anyone ever heard of this? Are they a gimmick or reliable? Where can you get same? Thks

A quick Google search brought up this one. Not a bad idea if you could not afford to install a perimeter protecting system. £129 ex.VAT.

They also sell this one that uses batteries. The mains supplied one would be the better value of the two.
