Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

i think there was thread recently about this, but my scanning man likes to scan 1 month after bull has been takin away from cows. he says more accurate this way and his dates are very accurate. Frs

not very accurate on dates after 5 months, have had my share of crap scanners, they need to take their time and it also helps if you have your own records , all it needs is a calender in the dairy or a diary in the jeep to record serves/heats seen, or the animal events notebook is handy too, takes the guesswork out of scanning

in short no, at that stage palpation could easily find the calf but i would suspect that there is a fair bit of differance between lads scanning

+1. If your scanner isn't picking up a calf when the animal is between 3 and 5 months gone to the bull then you have to question his skills and it is time to look at alternative scanning service providers.
