Rooftop bar in New York City

Hi all,

Heading to NYC next Sunday for my wifes 40th birthday. Was wondering if anyone could recommend a nice Rooftop bar for a drink with a nice view of the city?

Tried Google but there are so many its impossible to pick one so id like if I had a recommendation from someone. I would prefer just a bar too, and not a restaurant...

All suggestions welcome!

The rooftop bar at Le Bain is absolutely amazing but if you're a group of guys it will prob be hard to get in. It's a bit snotty but the views/djs/and models there are great

230 5th Ave is pretty popular to.

My favourite for a quite drink is the rooftop bar at La Quinta 'Me Bar' in Korean town.

Have you looked up the weather lately? Most rooftop bars will be closed because ehhhh it's either snowing or it's about -5 outside.... I think 230 5th is fully closed in. You should ring ahead for a booking if there's a group of you. It won't be cheap either!
