How hard is it to get into a secondary school for observation. I'm thinking of going back to do a post grad to teach math but would like observe a class to check if I'm making the right move.
    Thanks all.

If you are known to a school and a maths teacher is happy to take you on, then it should be relatively easy.

agree but if you are painful and awkward and picky, you will get the door very quickly

I agree with the above posters, if you have any contacts in a school it should be relatively easy to 'shadow' a maths teacher for a few days, I would recommend shadowing someone who didnt teach you as you will see a different side of maths to what you remember !!
