I've just been looking at the ASOS website, hoping to buy some clothing online for the first time.

I'm looking at suit jackets, and the only info they give is chest dimensions.

What about different arm lengths? Or length from top to bottom?

Should I take for granted that their items will fit me as long as I get the chest right, or are my concerns warranted?

I'm tall and thin (6'2" , 35-36inch chest), so I'm worried that by getting a relatively small-chested item, the rest of it may then end up too short for my length.

    Example: http://www.asos.com/ASOS/ASOS-Slim-Fit-Herringbone-Suit-Jacket/Prod/pgeproduct.aspx...

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Usually sites mention the sizes and I presume that the pictures are based on average heights about 5'5" for women and 6" for men to get a better idea.

I think they offer returns if the items don't fit so worst case, you are only out of pocket for postage but at least you will know?

Perhaps you can drop them an email and ask them otherwise?

    Happy shopping!

Yeah I guess emailing them is the only way to really know. Cheers!
