    Can you unblock the new iPhone? I ask because Im a Meteor bill pay customer who is due an upgrade. I was going to get the new iPhone on upgrade, but rather than keep it I wanted to give it to my boyfriend as a birthday present. However he's an O2 customer. So can I get a Meteor iPhone unblocked so as to allow someone to use it on O2 network?

    You will need to get in touch Meteor to have the phone unlocked. There's no other way to have an iPhone permanently unlocked.

    Since your plan is to get a Meteor upgrade, chances are they won't unlock the phone for a few months or unless you pay a fairly hefty unlock fee. I could be wrong though.
