    I've been to webpage and while it loads I cannot figure out how to create an account. Im pretty sure they have disabled the links

    Its is not a good website.



    As for humorous posts, surely a ban, temp or otherwise, is excessive, and verging on ridiculous

    We are perfectly happy with there being a comprehensive debate.

    That debate need not happen in the one thread, indeed including every single part of a debate on something as complicated as the Household Charge / the need to raise more tax / the banks means that the information that is sought - Where to pay the Household Charge - gets lost.

    We then stop providing a useful service to people. Which is what boards.ie isn't about. We like more signal than noise.

    Someone made an off-topic comment. People were asked to keep things constructive. The user made an derisive comment and was warned. The user made insulting comments and was warned again. The user persisted in their off-topic manner. The user was banned.

    Victor you shouldnt even bother responding to this kind of thread. since when is it up to users to query the moderation of the forum ?

    what has this to do with A&P ?
