Just wondering does anyone know of any meditation classes in the Letterkenny area. Tried google but no luck. Much appreciated.

Did you ever look at Lough Derg's website? They often run meditation courses. Would love to do one of those courses myself. On my list of things to do in 2012

Well someone in the Buddhism forum gave me this http://www.aoifev.com/metta.html. She's based in Donegal but seems to do groups events rather than regular classes so if anybody else is intrested maybe we could get her to come to LKY.

I'm interested in attending meditation classes.
I've had a look at the website and this appears to be exactly what I am looking for.
If there are others interested then maybe we can get a list of those interested to start with.
I have phoned Aoifa who runs the class.
She is based in Falcarragh and is happy to travel to E.G. letterkenny, for a group of 5 or more but a venue would have to be arranged by group.(cost €5p/p)

Another option and one I prefer is that we travel to Falcarragh to attend the class, on a Sat morning for example, to begin with.

Anyway I'll start a list of those interested (copy+paste to your reply)

I know of somewhere where it may be possible to rent a space for meditation in letterkenny, there was a mindfulness meditation course that took place last year in this particular venue

Did you find out about the cost and availability of the possible venue in Letterkenny.

Would everyone so far be ok with Sat morning in Falcarragh? 10am perhaps?

I have not yet checked - not too sure if this particular venue would open on a saturday - its a public centre and seems to run monday to friday. Falcarragh is fine for me, just wondering if anyone travelling from LK would like to share a run down? I am happy to share

Saturday is the only day i am available. 10am sounds fine.

Aoife is able to book a venue for 10am on Sat morning in Falcarragh.

I am happy to share the petrol - I can drive but have no idea how to get falcarragh...but I will still be there on Sat at 10.

looks like Meditation classes can get going in Falcarragh this weekend SAT 21st @10am.
This will be the first session it could become a regular thing if the numbers are there.
