    So, judging by the article's name Caudipteryx is a bird now? Little bugger keeps changing..

    It is not, but the study was written by Allan Feduccia who is one of the few guys who still defend the idea that birds are not dinosaurs (and so, if Caudipteryx had feathers, it HAD to be a bird) :P
