Which UK university to aim for to study film

    Hi folks,

I'm trying to choose a university in the uk to enter for my final year in film production and basically get my degree. I'm about to finish my 2nd year at Colaiste Dhulaigh here in Dublin (BTEC 6 HND).

Can anyone recommend a particularly renowned university? As looking through ucas (the uk university website) there are endless amounts of unis offering some kind of film study options.

A brief google suggests that warwick is a particularly good option for film students (it also gets a 94% rating on UCAS) but I'd just like to know if there is any university I should be especially aiming for?

    Thanks guys

A wise man once told me that for film school it's a good idea to study where you plan to live afterwards. See Dublin or London as your destination post graduation? Then go there. The contacts you make in film school may just be the most important thing you take from your time there.

Well, if you are really interested in film, you might want to take a look to:

NFTS - National Film And Television School

    http://www.nftsfilm-tv.ac.uk

It's located near London and it's the best school in UK to study that subject.

    Cheers!.
