Fairview park boarded area?

    Anybody know what they are doing in fairview park at the moment? There is a big area that is boarded up at the moment

    They're building a new childrens playground and skate park.

    It will incorporate solar panels, for what I don't know.

    Cheers, good to know they are finally building the skate park. It has been talked about for 20+ years. Unfortunately it is going to get a lot of broken glass and rubbish dumped in it.

    Most days there is rubbish from the night before drinking sessions. Maybe the solar panels will be for security cameras.

    The solar panels will probably be for lighting in the park, just like the wind turbines in Father Collins Park, Clongriffin, although I dont know why they decided to put lighting in a public park at night for scumbags to hang out and drink (and lovely shelters for when its raining)
