Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

MDR-RF810RK - Sony wireless headphones

I bought a pair of Sony wireless headphones (MDR-RF810RK) for listening to TV. I set them up correctly and charged for 16 hours plus as instructed.
I started to use them and they worked fine............for a few minutes and then they cut out. I tried plugging out the transmitter and plugging in again and they starting working again for a few more minutes before cutting out. There was some interference also with a hissing noise.
    Any ideas?

Check if another signal is interfering with them, such as wireless broadband.

Yes I have wireless broadband. So if someone was on the net on their iPhone nearby that could be the problem? Or could there be an issue with just having wireless broadband in the house i.e no one online at the time?
    Thanks

Make sure there's no wireless equipment nearby e.g. router ,wireless phone etc.If so try moving headphone transmitter to new spot.Could consider changing settings on your router if you suspect that could be the culprit.

Thanks but they are working fine now.

I found the following on the Sony website about this exact model:

"My MDR-RF8x0RK headset turns off automatically after a few minutes. What should I do?

Please increase the volume level of the TV (or audio device) and lower the volume level of the headset.
This will also improve the audio quality (white noise level).
