I love a beer belly with one proviso - the bearer has to be heading for 6ft. Tall and well-padded is highly edible, small and well-padded makes me think of Danny Devito.

I think it may be an evolutionary thing - if they're fine and fat themselves it indicates that they can probably provide for someone else as well!
