    Heading down to Galway in two weeks for herselfs birthday and am looking for tips on places to eat (something nice and cheerful , not expensive, her words not mine) and a good pub or club for a Saturday night out and a place to watch the footie.


    I have been to Galway 3 or 4 times, mostly day trips/football matches and one lads stay overnight. I plan on parking at the Light House B&B and not moving the car till Monday to head home; I have experienced the nightmare of the one way system and don’t fancy it again.
