The fact that its taxed till July offsets the price somewhat, looks in decent nick, not a bad choice if someone needed a runaround for a few months

    Ray Charles took the photos

Is there a morter hole in the roof of the car or something!?

Apparently if the rocker cover is silver you're good to go on the Saabs.

They are nice but it looks to me like there is more that 96,000 miles on them ;)

A sponge and soapy water would make a big difference to them. The stitching etc. Looks perfect if you look closely.

No rips, looks in shape. Possible a large boulder shaped person drove it? :p

Those seats do wear very quickly, but a 2.1 with 7-8k miles per annum over a couple of owners is a little hard to believe.

Looks like a decent motor for the bucks, I'd say someone is happy.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,792 ✭✭✭Ded_Zebra

They aren't ripped or anything but the cracking on the bolsters and particularly the arm rest (visible in the last pic) looks very well used.

Looks like a bargain unmodified TDI Golf here

    http://cars.donedeal.ie/for-sale/cars/4592017

    View2-17639935.jpeg

Could buy that now if it's genuine and turn a very tidy profit on that for anyone who's looking. :)

    Hmmmm, too fishy imo.

A TDi Golf with a years test, some tax and 100k miles for €900.

Could easily get €2k for it

Any bets its an sdi or a petrol?

I'd be pretty dubious of anyone selling a car on behalf of someone who isn't there.

    Yep.... It's back already.

Now as a 2.0 Litre and priced at 775

Even though you can see it's a 2.1...!

If the ads in Tipperary and family owned, why taxed in Limerick?

Folks, just wondering what peoples thoughts are on this. A little highly priced i think but I think it looks fantastic. I'm thinking about going to view it and was wondering what a realistic price would be ?

Looks quite clean, I'd go with €950 and offer him €900.
Others could probably get more off but I'd be happy with that. :)

That price seems alright for a turbo.

My guess is its deliberately priced at €1,050 for €50 to be haggled off and the seller to get €1,000.

I thought the same. I'm hoping for a little more off than that with the tax just out !

I thought the same when going looking at my car which was up for €1100, due to some proper lowballing by the GaryITR i ended up getting it for €825 in the end. Don't be afraid to start low.

Well, I was thinking it's been up for sale for 2 weeks and with no tax a cheeky offer of around €800 would be a starting point.
