As good an example of a Renault Megane that is I still wouldn't go touch it. They are one of the worst cars made in the last 10 years IMO. They are very comfortable though but that's about it.

Brother has one. Shocking electrical problems. Wouldn't touch it even with someone else's barge pole

    Chauffe, Marcel, chauffe!

Probably overdue a belt change (engine needs to come out) and I doubt about the vintage insurance (15 year limit usually applies to exotica only, like Ferraris, Porsches, etc.)

Still, great value for money. And the car will almost certainly be appreciated as a classic in years to come

And forgot to say: drool! :D

I seem to remember someone on here who had a 15 year old FTO insured on a classic policy?

Always loved those cars, but I know it would break my heart if I owned it though.

Campion insurance will insure a car 15 years old on a classic policy. They restrict the mileage. But it does mean you could get that FTO (or whatever) insured for cheap.

    No Test.
Low miles, full history and only 2 owners.
Might be worth a look, assuming the above all stacks up.

Couple of low mile auto mitsubishis.
Not ideal for learners as they are both auto, but could be sound 2nd cars/runabouts for a family in need of a quick fix.

    Plenty of test on this.

....well my Bangernomic is now road-legal. Got hit by an unforseen headgasket job, but still, car is officially a hoot.

    And, I mean, 'get-fit' windows ??

    :D

It's amazing what a can of wheel paint and some car products from LIDL can do :)

NCT for a year, timing belt done, 2000€
I'm picking up a Smart car for my wife on Friday. How do I convince her she needs the Alfa?

Now, after looking at it again - is there something wrong with the paint on drivers side? Or is it just the shadow?

That's gorgeous looking. It's missing the front and rear LE kit but still looks smart.

I miss my smurf blue 20vt, but it was falling apart. The sound of them engines are just beautiful.
