Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Problems with vasectomised bull

Have a vasectomised bull running with 25 heifers for the last 4 weeks, he's a sim/fr cross, roughly 20 months old, he was doing grand pickin them up in heat for the first two and a half weeks, picked up bout 14 of them in heat, but for the last 10 days he hasn't done anything. There's plenty of paint in the chin ball and I work during the day, so just wondering would anyone have any ideas of what might have gone wrong. Or how could I pick the rest of them up in heat by the end of January as I don't want the calving period to become too extended? Any advice greatly appreciated....

    Lilbelter,
maybe ,just maybe , any chance he actually has them bulled and in calf ?Seems very odd that the time span closely represents the 3 week cycle. If no activity over the next couple of weeks get them scanned .

Did you buy him vasectomised or get him done yourself?
