It just crept into this years nomination but I still have to convey how much I enjoyed Mission Impossible:Ghost Protocol. The IMAX format really raised the pulses in the big stunt sequences and the various exotic locations, intermingled with drool worthy gadgets, defined what it means to be a blockbuster.
I can't tell how surprisingly impressed I was with Thor. The effects were magnificent and mesmerising at points and the story wasn't made a complete mess of even though it seemed like it could have been easily enough due to the tricky story nature.

Fast Five- The most enjoyable throw away trash in many years.

Battle Los Angelas - It may be Black Hawk Down with Aliens but it was a hell of a lot of fun. The perfecta ction film for the 12 year old boy in all of us, it ain't big nor is it clever but it kicked some serious ass.
