Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,
Has anyone else noticed that the 3GS has been considerabley slower since the IOS 5 update, not so slow you can't use it but slower responses eg.. Mine takes a few seconds for the screen to go dark after I press the lock button?

Firstly did you do a clean update of just restore your old iPhone backup?

This always seems to be the first thing to blame when an issue like this is mentioned. I updated to iOS5 and restored my old device but noticed it was lagging horribly, I did a clean restore this morning and now only have 10-15 apps but all my music and it's much quicker. Obviously over time it'll obviously slow again but not as bad as before.

I just did a clean update on the day IOS 5 came out and haven't restored since. I did however do an over the air update to 5.0.1 and that is when I noticed real lagging issues .

Hmm maybe download the iOS 5.0.1 image and do a "shift-restore" in iTunes with the ipsw?

By hitting alt and clicking restore in iTunes it lets you select an ipsw (firmware file) to restore to your phone manually instead of automatically putting the latest one on.

Generally though unless you have your SHSH blobs saved in cydia you cannot downgrade an iPhone.
