well gave the demo a decent go and will defo be getting the game.As people have said above you keep wanna have another go either to beat your time or get better at doin tricks.

Grabbing the rails is a bit to easy though....

I went back to the demo last night, and my initial criticisms remain..... but .....I went back to a DEMO for f's sake and played it for over an hour

So what does that say about the game..... I think I will get the game now!!!!

yeah i noticed that you dont crash when you land arse ways..But you do lose your points +combo score for the tricks

Seems unreal. Loved SSX 3 for the PS2 was one of my favorite games for the system. Will have to pick this up at some point.

Hit 13 million last night without too much planning on my line, have my race run down to 2:01 but pretty sure i can break 2 minutes with a bit of patience.

Looking at your run there, couple of things, first duplicate tricks REALLY hurt your score, also try to make sure you keep your combo going for as long as possible as cashing it in at the finish can net you some serious points.

Its safe to say these guys are probably the biggest ssx fans out there, the devs are on the forums and regularly read them and have even leaked info here before they have to anyone else.
Theres gonna be weekly competitions using the in game tourney feature and they post master run vids to help people get the best times and scores possible
So far the best times on there have been about 1:50 and the 40 million mark has been broken

Played demo today and it's just about everything a long-time SSX fan could hope for. The best bits of SSX 3 without any of the hassle.

I've been a fan ever since the original, it being one of the formative experiences I had on the PS2, like most who played it. The last 'cannon' game stripped out the personality of the series and I could barely play it. Its absolutely wonderful that EA were able to understand the appeal of the original three games and translate it so well to the current gen consoles - this is one of the experiences I've wanted since the PS3 and 360 were announced.

I'm first out of all my friends list for the demo's race and trick event.

Unfortunately I've still only managed a silver in both. Need to work harder on my trick combos and my route, I just need a bit more luck for the race.

Did anyone who pre-order the game from GameStop buy it yet? I just got my copy but I'm not sure if they've given me the pre-order bonuses. They advertised Eddie and Mt Fuji as pre-order DLC but there is no sign of any codes inside the case other than the online pass. Is that what I put in to get the DLC or has the shop given me the standard version of the game by mistake? Normally I wouldn't care but they did advertise the bonus stuff for pre-orders and they are DLC I was actually looking forward to using straight away.

Turns out it was exactly like that. I went back to the shop (Liffey St.) and they printed out the codes for me. Turns out the staff were in the dark about how the DLC was handled. I can't blame them.

So if anyone else pre-ordered the game from GameStop and your copy does not have any "limited edition" logos on it, tell it to the staff and they will help you out.

Nearly had this game last night, went into Gamestop and HMV and both times I had my laser card in the machine and the guy was selling it before a manager walks over and said thats not out till tomorrow. Gutted! Got it today so roll on 4pm!

No you'll play as someone else once you leave the Rockies.

Seems easier to fall off the board in this compared with the demo ???

Got through the Deadly Descents and started into Global Events. Works great!

I took part in a race event on Serenity where the credits pool was 2.4 Billion. The winnings are split between the best placed times.

As I was heading down the mountain there were both ghost riders and actual riders going alongside me. I think they were competing simultaneously!
