Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Myself and a friend decided to spend two nights in Madrid this weekend. Looking for advice/suggestions on things to do. We booked a hostel not far from puerta del sol, which I gather as being quite central.

I've had a quick look already and found 2 threads, one on restaurants and the other was a bit more on how to get around Madrid.

If you have never been to Madrid before then I would advise you to do this free walking tour http://www.newmadrid-tours.com/daily-tours/free-tour.html

It will bring you to all the main sights and then you will have time for tapas and wine!

I am sure somebody who lives there can give you a better insight into the places to go but I have only even been to Madrid with friends who live there so never really planned anything else myself.

    Enjoy

Thanks for the suggestion, that looks like something worth while doing!
