Is gay marriage a threat to humanity?

I still think of myself as catholic (lapsed, yeah yeah you don't call it really catholic well go F....ind yourself) yet I find myself agreeing with the 2nd post.

My answer to the poll? Can I add an "AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA......etc" before the "no?"

Of course they can, unless you include the benefit of an open mind as abnormal (which is probably the case).

There are 50 year olds who had same-sex parents who are just fine. A lot of them (shock horror) are hetero too.

Sure they already can, they're taking issue with not being able to adopt as couples. I don't think race or sexuality should come into the adoption process at all unless the biological parent/s say so.

fwiw, I'm gay but I am making a conscious decision to not act on it. (I did once before and I can do it again..for lots of reasons not just religious/spiritually based ones) Doesn't mean everyone else should too. I wholly support gay marriage, partnerships and same sex parents, there isn't a doubt in my mind that they will prove to be not just as good but better at all those things than their straight counterparts.
