Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

few questions on molasses. the silage is going off in the mild weather and i want to eat the silage quicker.

    1. do you apply it every day or only when feeding.

    2. what quantity should i use

    3. does the molasses have any effect on cattle.

    4. when the silage quantity goes back to normal, will the cattle eat the silage without molasses, if they have been fed molasses.

    hi op

I bought 1ton of mollasses on saturday for the say reason. It was €190 a ton and about 600 litres (just over half filled an ibc tank)

I am giving about 4 gallons spread over 39ft of silage each evening.

God I wouldn't like to be standing behind any of them! It must be coming back out of them as quick as it's going in!! :D
