I'm looking for somewhere that's pleasant, cosy and ideal for a relaxed date for food and/or drink. Thanks.

Luigi's on main street is nice, they do a grand quater-pounder.

Thanks, but I'd be looking for somewhere a bit classier, since it's for a date. Doesn't have to be expensive though. Judging by the picture, Luigi's looks great for a quick informal pizza or burger, but that's not what I'm after really. Thanks though.039.jpg

I was joking :D Not sure tbh, the Hazel Hotel was grand but that's closed now.

The Silken Thomas in Kildare Town would be ideal if were willing to travel 10 mins up the road.

What about Café Barista? Is that still around and is it nice?

Think theres an Asian/Thai restaurant across from Luigis chipper ment to be ok.

Good days chinese is a decent place for a sit down.

Mooneys is a nice pub not sure if they serve food though.
