Facebook has hosted more child porn and pedo communities in its lifetime. The real reason 8ch is blacklisted on google is because it's uncensored and doesn't play by the rules (and probably because of /pol/), which allows people to actually discuss things that even places like 4chan have censored. One of the exoduses was from 4chan staff banning gamergate discussion (they were friends with the parties involved apparently). Seeing a pattern here. Glad to see more unorthodox, unfiltered Q&As with corporations since places likes reddit have become almost completely useless. Typical that they'd apologise for this though. Wonder how many blue checkmarks got upset that they're not doing their soft-ball Q&As in the right™ places where only the right™ questions and opinions can be expressed.

Did you even read through the AMA? It's literally full of paedophilic imagery, naked racism and anti-semitism all on a website that was created by people because they were banned from 4chan. Banned. From 4chan.

Again, it's been delisted from google because of child porn - the thing that 8chan is most well known for, is child porn.

The next step up from that is a dev diary on Stormfront or licencing a Rolf Harris painting game.

I didn't even know there was an 8chan, and i think i preferred not knowing. How anyone could consider that sort of ****e as a being a bastion of unfiltered/uncensored content (in a good way) is beyond me. It looks like it was created for literally the worst content imaginable.

How any PR dept signed off on that is a mystery.

People are able to grasp that concept, it's not that hard to understand. They would still find the sexual objectification of children through these drawings extremely distasteful and taboo.

I have been thinking that THQ Nordic are looking like THQ did towards the end. Lacking leadership & having a lot of IP's that aren't well, successful.
I'm baffled there hasn't been a Saints Row game since 2013 when I felt that was the only real big hit for them in the last few years, other than having the UFC licence when it started getting big.

Not a hard concept to grasp at all. No one is saying lolicon drawings = actual child abuse. However, lolicon itself is about drawings related to attraction to prepubescent girls. 8chan as a site allows lolicon drawings and imagery, as evident by the article I linked to where someone posted a question related to and alongside a lolicon drawing (the question was "Where the big tiddie lolis at?"). Real actual imagery of child abuse has also been posted on 8chan.

I'm sure there are people who enjoy legal lolicon content. Why? Who the f*ck knows? But if it's legal, that's fine, whatever they're into. However, these are things which are clearly not entirely unconnected for some, particularly since it's basically the extent to which you remain within the law. Again, not disputing some simply enjoy it for what it is and goes no further than that, but you'd have to be incredibly naive to think for many (particularly congregating on a site known for containing actual child abuse imagery in the past, if not the present, uploaded by users before being deleted) that it doesn't extend further than that.

With the description of the image the person posted alongside his question, his question itself, and the issues that website as a whole have had, I don't think it's unreasonable to imply that such a question should have at the very least caused the guy from THQ to send "Mark" a quick message to let him know about that "nasty stuff".

Well they moved onto Agents of Mayhem after Saints Row IV while providing development support to High Voltage Software for the standalone expansion, Gat out of Hell. With them now being owned by Deep Silver (and by extension, THQ Nordic) I'd wager they're working on the next entry in the series but I'd also worry about the budget they can allocate to the project won't be enough to see a return to form for the franchise and address the issues folk had with the fourth game.

As for pedophilic, I don't see what you're talking about. You mean lolicon? Are you not able to separate reality from fiction? Should literal loli style games that are published on major platforms be arrested for child pornography distribution? Because possession & trade (what you're accusing a site of harboring) is a less of a crime then production and distribution(what is literally sold across multiple platforms). Oh right, it doesn't violate any laws, because it's not child porn. Actual child porn has been and still is rampant on other much more popular platforms.

It's created for any content that doesn't violate US law. Similar to how reddit used to be and in ways still is. And who could be responsible for what 8chan is known for? Surely not these loud checkmarks who lock down Wikipedia pages with connections? There's still lots of child abuse(and other such)communities on facebook and they let it go on for years. 8chan not only has removed illegal material faster than any of these 'safe' platforms faster and earlier, its users have actually found evidence of abuse(on and off platform), submitted it to authorities and got the criminals investigated/arrested.

If you think the platforms you use are cleaner than 8chan... you're mistaken. They usually have a long history of letting people organise to actually physically harm real people. Right now it's a bunch of game journos and anti-ggs getting completely shocked that f'ing lolicon exists... I've seen more creepy pedophilic content on nickelodeon ffs. (which had a child sex scandal). Lolicon content is posted and even monetised daily on twitter and other major platforms FYI and every major company has an official twitter account.
