Panzer Dragoon is one of those franchises I'd heard of growing up, yet never played nor even ever learned the basic premise of. It's kinda embarrassing for my gamer cred

Yeah It's pretty much Starfox except you can look 360 degrees around your dragon. I hope this remake makes substantial changes to the game as it's a little bit basic. The sequels Panzer Dragoon Zwei and Orta however are stone cold classics and arguably the best examples of their genre. As for the RPG, Panzer Dragoon Saga, it's my favourite 32 bit RPG and it's a crying shame more people can't play it. Hopefully it gets a remake along with Zwei and Orta.

Apparently that Witcher Netflix series hits tomorrow.

Might get an episode or two in before Luigi's Mansion, but I've never played the games so dunno if I'll get much out of it even if it is based on the books. Not buying Cavill in the role there are far more interesting choices around. We'll see.

Haven't seen this; Netflix usually don't hang around between date announcement and release, but AFAIK no release date had come out yet for The Witcher, the rumour saying December.

Some of the netflix sci-fi & fantasy stuff has been very adult.
