I think it's 6 euro on the psn store at the moment, tempted to get it again but dunno if it hasn't aged too well.

I didn't think much of it tbh. Mind you I would still buy a new though if it came out. I spoke to a guy one time and he said it was one of his favorite games.

Yupp one of my favourite games on the mega drive, graphics, gameplay, music, all brilliant, tough as nails though.

I played it on the PS2 way back when and didn't really like it. Bought it on PS4 maybe about a year ago and played it for a few hours. Still just couldn't get into it. Yeah it did not age well. Everything just felt so clunky and empty.

That said, would buy a new one in a heartbeat.

I think it has 'aged' fine. It's still better than a lot of modern trash. I got a go of it for free on steam thanks to family sharing. I didn't stick with it because I'm just not into the Rockstar formula, school settings and lots of QTE mini games especially when tied to levelling up and grinding. I might still go back to it for the characters, music and beatdowns, though. You can punch little girls after kissing them. You just don't see that anymore.

That was one of my favourite features in all the old school games. I really miss it.

I too lament the lack of kissing and then punching little girls in modern gaming. TLOU in particular would have been much better were it an option, particularly that opening sequence with Joel and his daughter.

Other than the name change, the content is identical and early adopters will get a 10% discount – taking it down to $9.00. It looks like it's just the same old Cataclysm.

They couldn't remaster the game because they lost the source code.
They might still have a release version of it though.

First thing I did was run into the zombies that are chasing you with her in your arms. Not even kidding. I F up scripted sequences and QTEs all the time on purpose.
