Great journalism from the sun there as usual. Nintendo removes lewd content because rags like the sun will give them bad publicity over. Not one to miss out on a ****ty article they spin it to make Nintendo look like a nanny company and people that play games as sexual deviants.

Your problem is reading that rag. I wouldn't wipe my ass with it

If they started printing on quad layered Aloe vera infused I might, not like the **** content would go up too much.

  • Playstation just pulled the XB1X Anthem gameplay from their YouTube channel.

Tut tut Playstation. Well, that's all the confirmation required. They were definitely up to no good.

Extremely amateurish from Sony in my opinion
Wonder what the legal consequences are?

If EA are referring people to Sony for comment then you'd have to assume that Sony did in fact edit the trailer to include the PS controls?

You are probably right, but at a very minimum it's a complete **** up from the sense that they managed to put this on the YouTube Channel

Regardless of who photoshopped it (badly) how it wasn't spotted before upload is farce.
Either that or they thought it wouldn't be spotted by anyone else

E3 misrepresentation has become the norm now anyway, industry is sneaky.

Who here actually thinks the pre-alpha footage shown is going to be how the game looks when it's released?

It won't, it will be Watchdogs etc all over again. Even an amazing looking game like Witcher 3 was down graded from what they originally showed at E3.

That's what I'm finding most odd about this. It's a hullabaloo about footage that most likely isn't representative of what the final game will look like on any platform.

I'm not getting too hyped for it anyway like I was with The Division. Then again it is the Frostbite 3 Engine and surely we've all seen the Endor Forest Map in Battlefront. Probably the best looking map I've ever seen.

It's not about the footage though it's about Sony being sly and manipulating the footage to make it look like Sony gameplay

No I think it's more that the footage has been proved to not be representative of actual footage from that console.

Really? I wouldn't be so sure.
People shouldn't just except the fact that something shown at a games conference isn't what you will get as final product

If Nintendo or MS had done same there would be uproar, Sony shouldn't just get a free pass from criticism

If Sony are responsible for it, its an extremely stupid move on their part. If EA are responsible for it, totally stupid move on their part.

If it was a trailer for the game being released next week and they pulled that stunt then the outrage would be totally justifiable imo. The cynic in me thinks that there's probably going to be a significant downgrade to the visuals from the pre-alpha like we saw with WatchDogs and Uncharted 4 so it's not something I'd get my knickers in a twist about.

Guys, I'm drawing a line under this post about the topic of the Anthem YouTube video because it's been discussed to death imcluding the legal issues surrounding it (there are none) and it's a total non issue but is getting people riled up.

It's going to blow up so I'm stopping it dead before it does.

    Consider this a mod warning.

Evil Genius 2 announced! Love the first one, even if I never finished it.

See here. Sad that it's so far away though.

That's good news. Loved the first one as well, although it was pretty short without much in the way of replayability. The only thing of course is that this is a different company's take on EG, so they'll need to do their homework.

Terrible announcement :( Not sure why this is even news but I got a good laugh anyway - I wouldn't even look at it if it came free on PS Plus. Another steaming pile of indie ****e.

I would not call it ****e, it looks very interesting and has a great visual style, will be getting it day 1 on Steam.

Its supposed to be absolutely bastard hard. I love the look of it but bullet hell games are not my cup of tea (pun intended).

It is supposed to me more of a platformer now than a boss rush game, if they kept it the way it was it would of been quite a niche title.

Visually Cuphead is a beauty , but those platform levels don't exactly set the world on fire.

I'm guessing it'll be priced at €20. Like Ori, not supposed to set your world alight but just a good fun game. Ori was profitable within it's first week, so there is definitely a healthy market there for the platform genre.

It looks alright in terms of gameplay and the visual style looks great, but it's not something I'd be rushing out to buy or play.

I'm hoping it plays like a Contra game as it's been a very long time since the good game of that type. Hard Corps Uprising was the last time I played a good game in the genre.

I just hope it's not like Alien Hominid. I don't care what the critics say about it, it's a bad Contra game, only Eurogamer seemed to agree with me.

I bought into the hype, got Alien Hominid. Very disappointed, no idea what people were going on about.

This generation of home consoles has been severely missing some bonkers stuff from Japan.

Step forward Granzella, formed from former Irem employees that made the Disaster Report games and Steambot Chronicles.

City Shrouded in Shadow looks very like a Disaster Report game but this time the disasters are caused by various monsters and heros from across Japanese media. There's definitely Godzilla, gamera and ultraman but also what looks like Patlabor and Neon Genesis Evangelion. Also Monster Hunter looks to be hinted at as well. Hopefully all these licenses don't stop it getting a us release or we at least get an English language Asian release.

    We need more of this.

I'm sure the devs will miss the peanuts they'd make from you getting it on PS+ :pac:
