Homemade Gripe Water

hi guys has anyone else made their own gripe water? i made some last night using caraway seeds and sugar and a pint of water would you say its safe to use? it looks and tastes exactly the same as the woodwards gripe water opinions?

I thought gripe water used Dill ?

We used camomile tea ( weak and cooled obviously ) and it seemed to help.

You can also use a combination of fennel and chamomile
