Just saw this recently and thought some people here would be interested.

It was originally announced to be one date but now Phil Coulter and Mary Byrne will be playing a residency, 6 nights at the Olympia Theatre in May.

I just got my tickets this morning and I am really excited as I am a huge fan of Phil Coulter's music and will be looking forward to hearing some of him playing some of his own material which will be part of the show too.

Originally scheduled for one night only, Mary Byrne & Phil Coulter have officially confirmed that they will be performing a 5 night residency at The Olympia Theatre in Dublin this coming May 2012 – due to overwhelming demand! Yes, Mary Byrne & Phil Coulter will now be performing live on stage at The Olympia Theatre in Dublin on May 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th & 13th 2012. This will be Mary Byrne’s first proper live show since supporting Neil Diamond at The Aviva Stadium in Dublin during the summer of 2012. The show will also see Phil Coulter performing solo for a variety of hits from his illustrious career.


Mary Byrne released her second studio album “With Love” in Ireland on November 25th 2011. This brand new studio album is the follow up to double platinum selling debut “Mine & Yours”. “With Love” was recorded in County Antrim and was produced by legendary musician Phil Coulter, “With Love” shows a delicate, romantic side to Mary Byrne featuring tracks such as “You Don’t Know Me” and “You Needed Me”.


The new album is a collection of classic songs, some that are personal to Mary Byrne, others that have been suggested to her by Phil Coulter. It also includes a brand new Phil Coulter song called, ‘Thank God This Was My Life’, which has been inspired by Mary’s own life.

I know what you mean about Mary.

I'm actually more looking forward to Phil.

I could be surprised though, I just needed to see Phil Coulter live sometime soon, didn't matter if it was alone or with someone else.
